lauralovesdiamonds Hi @zannavandijk I stumbled across your profile after watching someone's stories, clicked on your page and recognised this scar straight away, last April I had 11hr emergency surgery for this, I have had half my bowl removed, and due to having some a tight core and such a deep fast unplanned cut, it became weak post surgery and I got diasatis recti and a possible hernia. I, like you and proud of my scar, the abdominal split as made me take my training more gradual and carefully increase my strength training which is a good thing, however a year on, with lots of physio the tear is increasing, how did you find post surgery progress, said you have any complications, are you healed x

sarahbellreine Wow I had an intestinal obstruction, and emergency surgery which turned into an obstruction and other complications. I survived and have a similar scar through my bellybutton. This was 6 years ago now. I absolutely love that you just posted this photo!! So inspirational!

buttenfarm I have a matching scar! Failed removal of an ovarian cyst while I was pregnant. Accidentally punctured my uterus so they had to open me up and sew up the puncture. High fives for cool scars 🤛🏻
