After a blistering start to the year, Job growth came to a near halt in February. In fact, it was the worst month for job creation since September 2017, when two major hurricanes hit the employment market.⁣⠀

Nonfarm payrolls increased by just 20,000, even as the unemployment rate fell to 3.8%. The slack in job creation was offset somewhat by a solid increase in wages.⁣⠀

Despite the jobs number, White House economic advisor Larry Kudlow told CNBC he expects the U.S. economy is still on track for growth of 3% or more. ⁣⠀
