Times are changing on Wall Street.
Goldman Sachs, historically known as a white-shoe investment bank, is relaxing its dress code for all of employees.
The shift from mandatory formal attire to a “firm wide flexible dress code” was once considered unimaginable. But Goldman Sachs’ desire to keep up with the times and the changing nature of workplaces inspired the change of heart.
But don’t expect t-shirts and flip flops. The memo reminded employees: “Of course, casual dress is not appropriate every day and for every interaction and we trust you will consistently exercise good judgment in this regard.”
You can read more on the memo from CEO David Solomon, at the link in bio.
