We're mourning the loss of the incredible Carolee Schneemann, whose groundbreaking work challenged conventional ideas of the representation of women in art. A key figure in the development of performance and body-based art, Schneemann's practice spanned over six decades, including now legendary performances such as "Meat Joy" (1964), "Up To And Including Her Limits" (1973), and "Interior Scroll" (1975).
