We went back to the wild wild woods today and explored a new stretch of forest. We found this mossy patch of rocks where a creek flowed out from. Our little guy meandered along the rocks, my warrior poet practiced throwing his knife into a tree trunk (and then taught me how to do the same and I loved it) and also snapped a few photos of me while I wasn’t looking, and I found this cozy little nook to have my creative respite. Then we all trailed down the creek, skipped stones, got admonished by a noisy squirrel up in a tree, and as we made our way out of this enchanted woodland, the sun already set and we heard the animals of the night begin to awaken. All in all a most magic-filled adventure and my very favorite kind of afternoon. Now we’re making breakfast for dinner. And my heart is full. ?
