i grew up in Riverside, California. the most suburban, normal town you can imagine. my mother, before she met my stepdad who is an angel of a human being, worked three jobs and struggled to make ends meet to feed her 5 children as a single mother. she did her absolute best and I had a beautiful childhood, but I grew up eating top ramen because it was the cheapest meal one could eat. my life now is beautiful and special and I wouldn’t change it for the world, but it hasn’t been an easy journey. I’m saying all of this to send the message to anyone out there who may not be living the life of their dreams at THIS MOMENT, that it is possible. It is all possible. The hardest part is deciding what you want. Once you’ve figured that out, break it down to tiny steps you can take each day to make your dreams come true.
