We had a guest speaker at church Sunday (Pastor Jon Decuir) and he preached about honor. It was an interesting message. Something I never think about. Do I honor those in authority or those that I respect? Is honor just a thing that we just don’t recognize in this generation? We have been labeled as a rebellious and radical generation, so is this just something we don’t think feel is conducive to our goals? One thing he said was “honor creates access, and some of us are where we are as a result of how we honored someone else or how we didn’t” what do you guys think? May delete this later, I was just asking for a sounding board. I want to see if this is even an important factor to anyone else.
