I took this photo last year at Jododaira Rest House - I love how it clearly shows just how much snow falls in the mountains in central Fukushima! There is much heavier snowfall in Aizu region too. I'm sad not to be able to visit Jododaira this winter (On Sep 15 the volcanic warning for Azumayama area - including Jododaira - was raised to Level 2, which means you can't currently travel to this area?)
