Happy Epiphany Day! ? Otherwise known as the day that the Three Kings visited Baby Jesus, and when the Galette des Rois (or “Kings Cake) is traditionally served. Ours is filled with almond frangipane (an almond pastry cream) inside a reversed puff pastry crust - meaning that the butter block is wrapped outside of the dough during the lamination process, leading to an even flakier crust with beautiful caramelization. Think: almond croissant in cake form! Each whole cake comes with a golden paper crown and a little fève to hide inside - if you find it, you’re king for the day.
