Shortly after the discovery of the X-ray (123 years ago today!), Austrian photochemists Josef Maria Eder and Eduard Valenta demonstrated its magical ability to reveal the hidden structure of living things. Their “Experiments in Photography” portfolio featured X-ray images of #fish, as well as human hands and feet, frogs, a snake, a chameleon, a lizard, a rat, and a rabbit.
