高い塔や建物を建てるとき、まっさきに登っていって
仕事をする鳶師。
足場もないような危険な場所へ
時には命綱もつけず挑んでいく。
目もくらむような高所での仕事に誇りを持って
立ち向っていくカッコいい男達。
鳶師は建築現場の華。

Rice has been at the center of Japan's economy and culture for centuries.
Ropes made of rice straw are widely used.
Straw ropes in Shinto shrines play an important role, dividing the space between the sacred area and the outside world.

Those huge hoko in the Gion Festival is assembled with only wood and ropes, and not with nails,

Ouvrier maçon(2011, par Katsuji Wakisaka)
Lors de la construction de grandes tours ou de grands immeubles,
on fait appelle à des ouvriers maçons qui travaillent à leurs sommets.
En allant sur des lieux dangereux sans échafaudages,
il défie la nature, parfois sans cordes de sécurité.
Des hommes d’une grande classe, fier de travailler à haute altitude,
debout face à des paysages lointains se dessinant à l’horizon.
La fleur des fleurs des ouvriers en construction.
