What makes a good monument?
@chrisevargas's exhibition offers artists a chance to propose new monuments to the Stonewall riots. On Nov. 8, a panel of scholars, cultural critics, and artists—including Nona Faustine, Kevin Mumford, Harriet F. Senie, and Jeanne Vaccaro—will expand on this work, considering the histories and futures of monuments in the United States.
