Did you know—throughout his career, Frank Lloyd Wright premised his designs on basic geometric modules and for the Guggenheim Museum, he drafted a circular grid on his plan drawings. The circle motif carries the design throughout the building and is notably visible on both the interior terrazzo floor and concrete sidewalk outside. These images show the grid of metal rings that are set into the concrete outside the museum's entrance, and during construction (swipe left to view all the photos). #Archtober
