日本茶 meets Botanical Gargen ? すでに先週末のことですが…同級生が装花を担当した“飲む植物園"、素敵すぎでした!!お茶とカクテルと花。それらが融合することで、化学反応が起こり、全く新しい日本茶を楽しむ体験に。
トロりとした不思議な口どけのドリンクは、アガー(寒天)を溶かしたベースに鹿児島産の日本茶と、それに合うハーブエキスを混ぜたもの。普段和菓子で使う寒天が、こんな使い方もあったのかと発見!早速家でも試しましたが、配合が難しい…

Last weekend I attended a flower event called “Drinkable Botanical Garden” held at the Tokyo Saryo. The shop was beautifully decorated with flowers and moss which gave one the feeling that you are in a small forest in the city. We were served Japanese tea with herbal silop that gave a very refreshing taste. The texture was both thick and smooth because of the agar combined with the base water of the tea. I find this very exciting because I also use and work with agar in creating my unique desserts. Looking forward and very excited to collaborate with other creative artists on how to present food, drinks and dessert in very creative ways .
