For most of my life I’ve trained like an athlete. Dancers are some of the most Athletic people I know! At a young age I knew what hard work and discipline felt like. Not only physically but mentally. Pushing my body to its limits. I always wondered would I still be able to train pregnant? My Dr. told me I could continue doing everything I normally do. And for the most part I have. In the beginning It was hard to know what was too much but, your body will tell you. And it sure told me. I started to feel a lot of pain in my lower abdomen which freaked me out. Any pain down there and you immediately are thinking the worst. After talking to my Dr. I was told I suffer from round ligament pain. It started at 10 weeks and still really bothers me. There are certain exercises that will trigger that pain. And I try to stay away from those. Some days even walking is painful at times. It tends to be more common in women who are really active. I have had to modify my traning dropped my weight 50% of what I normally would lift and I’m fine with that. I’m not focused on building muscle I’m building a baby! I’m just trying to maintain, feel strong and prepare for a healthy delivery! I do feel so much better after I workout tho. I’m six months and feeling great!
