Embrace your struggles and discomfort, especially the situations that make your skin crawl and the ones that bring up your darkness. Sit with everything, feel it all in your self without acting it out or asking anyone else to do your emotional labor, don’t rush, don’t push for an end point, a quick resolution, a fast path to an easy answer. If you get wet, let it rain on you. Don’t blame, hate, or retaliate, just keep going. Sooner or later the clouds will clear. And if you’ve kept your eyes on the path and your heart open, then you will have grown stronger, wiser and more kind along the way. You will be filled with hopeful determination to carry on and make your world a better place.

This rainbow is the best birthday present I could ask for. A sign of Grace. I am taking it all in as a grand celebration.
