Konichiwa Food Republic – I’m Evan Bloom co-founder of Wise Sons Jewish Deli in San Francisco. Earlier this year we brought our real deal bagels and signature pastrami to Tokyo with @wisesons_tokyo. It’s been quite the trip, exhilarating, exciting all at once. We built our Jewish comfort food brand on quality ingredients and community support, and bringing those ideas to Japan continues to be an adventure. Our Instagram takeover is a snap of what it’s like to open a restaurant in Tokyo. At our Tokyo commissary space cleanliness is key and these head to toe clean suits mandatory.
