Diana, Princess of Wales, died on this very day in 1997, after a car crash in Paris. A few weeks after I was born.
.
Millions of people like me, who never met her but felt as if they knew her, remembers her.
She was our “People’s Princess” and our role model too.
.
She was known for her charity work with numerous organizations benefitting children, the homeless, the disabled, and people with HIV/AIDS. She has been an inspiration for me. I can only hope I can achieve a fraction of what she did in her short life.
