It is with so much heartache that we announce the passing of the Founders #GSD Jedi (aka #Nutters). Nutters passed away last night after a very short battle with heart failure. He was only 8 1/2 years old. He was originally owned by Judi Bassett (Dave’s mom, who the center is named in honor of). When she passed away in 2015 Dave and Amy adopted her two GSDs, Jedi and Squiggs and brought them into Canid pack. Nutters was the gentle giant and absolutely loved to be around people. When Bart, their oldest GSD, passed at the age of 15, Nutters quickly became the guardian of the House. What a gift this dog gave to all that knew him and loved him!! When the Singer babies were born - he cared for them like they were his own... and became their babysitter!!! The boys absolutely loved him and he will be so missed by his pack!!! .
Please spend a moment thanking the world, the lord, or whatever you may believe in for the magic of the dog... .
