Today is my Granny, Doris Dooyema, birthday! She would have been 84 but lung cancer took her life. She was a non-smoking, goofy, vanilla ice cream eating, imaginative, loving woman I miss so dearly!
So to celebrate her today I searched for a place way and I want to bring back #FightForChangeFriday !! I have been fighting to educate and advocating with @lungforce since one month after her passing!! I will not stop till we see a cure for, THE NUMBER ONE CANCER KILLER!! In honor of her life i created Team DD and have been doing walks and fundraising for 4 years. Together we have raised over $76,000!!!!!!! I am launching my @lungforce walk goal for this year again and I want to raise $25,000 by nov 18 to finally break the 6 figure goal!!!!
