Hello! I’m Elizabeth Haidle, a freelance illustrator/designer and the creative director of Illustoria. Today I’m sharing a sketchbook snapshot of some character designs.
I often like to sketch roughs onto a grey- or beige-toned paper, then add the darks + lights with brush pens & Gelly Roll pens for finishing details. Speech bubbles are great for either saying whatever’s on your mind, quoting famous people, or making an otherwise-dull-situation wacky or fun! (Images made with these:)
