Sunday morning breakfast! Wanted to eat on my newly purchased Marimekko placemat so made capirotada, a Mexican bread pudding. Baguette cubes tossed in a brown sugar, butter,cinnamon and cloves infused syrup. The bread cubes are topped with golden raisins, toasted almonds, shredded Monterey jack cheese and baked.
