#GagosianViewingRoom: Our first-ever Online Viewing Room features a work by Christopher Wool.

Wool has experimented with different ways of mixing handwork with machine, incorporating silkscreens, inkjet prints, spray paint, stamps, stencils, photographs, and photocopies into his practice. By layering and recycling these components, Wool's works appear to be in a state of continual revision.

In "Three Women," Wool combines mechanical and freehand processes. He has erased some of his marks and overwritten them, using the silkscreen to duplicate and subsequently rework the abstraction.
