The World at Night project
Swipe left for the entire view. In a moonlit night of Sagarmatha National Park, a World Heritage Site of Nepal, spectacular view of Himalaya emerges under the starry sky. I captured the scene a decade ago in late November on the way to Everest base camp. On the left Lhotse, the world's 4th highest peak (8516 m), is visible while the outstanding Ama Dablam (6812 m) is at right, with the Beehive Star Cluster rising above the peak.
