This is my beautiful friend Tara, we’ve been friends since before my bro and I started Halestorm. She was my neighbor growing up. I remember experimenting with makeup for the first time while over at her house. I remember confessing our crushes, playing our favorite cds in her bedroom, and having little parties in my family’s barn. I remember telling her all about my obsessions with being in a band, and perhaps forcing her to listen to my silly songs. ? She saw us perform long before anyone else did. And I don’t have many people that I can say I’m still good friends with from back in those days. A lot of people fade away or fall off the ole train when things get crazy... but we’ve managed to keep in touch, and I’m very lucky to have such a beautiful and patient friend who though we don’t see each other as often as we’d like to, we always pick up right where we left off.
