Fresh organic spring produce. Just some spring onions, zucchinis, and fresh fava beans all in a pan with some peppery extra virgin olive oil. Added some white wine, and let the alcohol evaporate while cooked some whole grain spaghetti. In the meanwhile, made the simplest pesto with basil leaves and Roman pecorino cheese, which cries for fava beans, specially in this time of the year; mayday is celebrated in Rome eating raw fava beans and pecorino during a picnic.
I then mixed some of the pesto with the veggies and the put rest on the pesta as I served. With more white wine, of course.
