Dogs fart.
This is something they don’t talk about in those famous photographer master classes I’ll bet.
The professional in me says work through it. Just pretend like nothing happened and this will pass and your eyes will stop watering…eventually.

And then boom, it happens again. Silent, deadly, without warning or courtesy. When I was a kid, my father would blame our dog Chris for these unexplained disturbances in the force. Chris got blamed a lot.

Size or age has very little to do with it either. Timing on the other hand is everything. I’m at ground zero here with little Tolliver, who might be a year-old by the time this post reaches you. This proximity puts me directly in the impact zone for this French Bulldog’s indiscretions. Those ears give it away, like the “tell” of a crafty poker player; Semaphores, signaling intentions and instructions to anyone about to be in harms way.

To those of you who think I have a dream job, think again.
