I hear a lot of people tell me that they “wish” they were fit, or they “want” to lose weight, or be stronger, or eat better, or whathaveyou. I encourage all of you who feel this way that your words and thoughts have incredible power. Claiming that you long for something is proclaiming that you DON’T HAVE it, and this lack is what you will feel, thus manifest, thus experience. But claiming that you “are getting fitter” or that you “are going to get stronger” or that you “will eat better”, these powerful proclamations stake claim in your success and set in motion their own manifestation. .
I have used this tool in every area of my life, from healing depression, to starting new careers, to striking balance in my personal life, to harmony with my man, to spiritual goals, to my own health and fitness. .
I believe in the power of claiming something as my own before I experience it, in order that I might draw that experience to myself. Often as I claim it, it becomes clear to me if it’s something I really want, really care about and am truly passionate about, or not. And, in this way, I either gather more energy to that claim or the feeling of even wanting it dissipates to make way for a meaningful desire that has roots deep within me.
