ANDREA BOCELLI WINS THE GLOBAL AWARD 2018 AS “BEST CLASSICAL ARTIST”

Another international prize for Andrea Bocelli, who won the “Best Classical Artist” in the Global Awards 2018. This great event, which took place last night in London, brought together all the main radio stations worldwide – among which Capital, Capital XTRA, Heart, Classic FM, Smooth, Radio X, Gold and LBC – to celebrate the most beloved artists in the music, news and entertainment business.
Voted by the public and an expert panel, Bocelli was awarded the prize during a spectacular ceremony at the historical London Eventim Apollo Theatre. There, the tenor won a round of applause and a standing ovation from the 4.000 people in the room with his performances of “Nessun Dorma” and “Time To Say Goodbye”.
Together with Bocelli, who sold 90 million albums produced by Sugar, some of the main artists in the world attended the event, among whom Sam Smith, Rita Ora, Kasabian and Martin Garrix.
