NEW WEBSITE! – Well it’s been a while in the making but I’m delighted to say that my old and very outdated website has now been replaced by a shiny new one. Massive thanks and appreciation must go to my good mate Tom Mesquitta of www.studiotm.co.uk who as well as being a phenomenal designer is also one of the most naturally gifted and creative photographers that I’ve worked alongside. I had the pleasure of Tom’s company on a recent trip to Bavaria and I was immediately struck by his eye for composition which, as far as photography goes, is one of our most useful assets. In addition to that he is, unlike me, at the very cutting edge when it comes to any and all design work and I was constantly impressed with his ideas, his vision and the ease with which we were able to work together. If any of you do have any design or photography work that you need undertaking then I for one am more than happy to recommend not only Tom personally but also his company. The image that I’ve decided to post today is from a sequence that I’ve posted from before because it represented probably the most visually appealing yet photographically challenging circumstances under which I have ever found myself. This was the second of two blizzards that blew through that afternoon and we could have very well left after the first one! Such is the ever present role of luck in my photography that, not only were we fortunate enough to decide to commit to the wait but when we did so these two snow-covered stags decided to show up. As if that wasn’t fortunate enough then proceeded to pause in front of what must be most scenic part of the forest backdrop before then deciding, in unison, to look in the same direction. If then, anyone decides to try and suggest that this image isn’t the result of an enormous multitude of good fortune then I for one will have to, very politely of course, disagree!
