Photo by @pedromcbride (Pete McBride) Happy New Year: I spent the better part of 2017 telling stories about the “there there” of The Grand Canyon or “The High Church of the Canyon,” as some call it. After walking the entire length of this landscape - some 750+ miles without a trail for @ナショナルジオグラフィック — I’m not sure what is harder - the physical journey or telling the story of places like this voiceless cathedral and other public landscapes that we all share. Either way I’m looking forward to 2018 and sharing many stories via a speaking tour with @ナショナルジオグラフィック, a film and a photo book.
