A little #bluesday inspiration from #bkmamericanart: #RobertKobayashi’s “The Brooklyn Bridge” extends his neo-pointillist style from the front of the painting all the way to its edges, showing us this part of his city bathed in the grainy blue of night. Born in Hawaii, the sculptor, found-object artist, and painter came to New York following World War II, attending the Brooklyn Museum Art School before eventually opening his personal gallery on Elizabeth Street in Manhattan. #infinitebluebkm ?⠀
