Here are festive depictions of holly and mistletoe by artist Mary Delany. Made in the mid–1770s, these botanically accurate works showcase Delany’s unique technique, which she started at the age of 72! Although they look like watercolours, they are in fact collages made using tiny pieces of coloured paper. The artist produced thousands of these painstaking designs.
