Secrets eat away at you, especially if they carry shame or guilt. Anything you feel compelled not to share takes energy and looms over your head. If it’s something you’ve done, then you may need to make atonement for it. If it’s something that’s been done to you, you may need to heal from it. Either way, keeping things shrouded in darkness gives them power over you. Bringing things to the light is freedom.
