I'm still at the hospital. Docs were hoping I could go home today but it looks like I'm gonna have to stay another night. Early this morning, they tried transitioning me off my IV onto oral pain meds because they felt I looked pretty good. However, when the doc came to examine me a few hours later, he noticed I was exhibiting signs of pain. I have a history of not reacting well to oral pain meds so they think it's best I be treated with IV pain meds for another day.

As much as I want to go home, Mom thinks its best that I get the treatment I need so I don't have to keep going back to the ER.

Some have asked if my current diagnosis of hemorrhagic gastroenteritis (HGE) is linked to my liver tumor surgery from a few weeks ago. Doctors don't believe the two are related but more of a coincidence or bad timing. Although there's never a good time to get HGE! My ultrasound on Friday showed that my liver is doing well but that there is inflammation and ulceration in my stomach and intestines.

Thank you to those who have left comments and messages of well wishes and prayers. Mom apologizes that she hasn't been able to reply to everyone. We'd also like to thank those who have shared my Go Fund Me page or donated. The outpouring of love and support has been amazing.

The last few weeks (months) haven't been easy but I'm going to get better. I may be a little dude but I'm a big fighter!
