Stan "The Man" Musial's 1952 Cardinals jersey just joined our collection. Musial spent his 22-year career playing for the St. Louis Cardinals from 1941–1944 and 1946–1963, serving in the Navy in between.
He finished his career with a .331 batting average, won three MVP trophies, and led the Cards to three world championships. He is a member of baseball's Hall of Fame, and a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Legendary baseball objects including this jersey recently came to our collection thanks to a gift from Thomas Tull, a private collector.
