I've always photographed old buildings that have been abandoned, convincing myself and other people to pull over by the side of the road in questionable locations just so I could capture a shot. I think what I love most about them is how the decay highlights the slow, dogged resilience and beauty of nature. How our time here on this planet is limited and how, in the end, nature will always have her slow and quiet way with us.
