?Matcha + Writing?in jungle shacks.
I'm pretty sure I dreamed of this job as a kid... It's actually difficult to pinch myself and say, it's a reality now.
I'm not really wired to congratulate myself on my achievements.
That's what living kaizen is all about. I always want to strive to do better.
I've been writing my next book in Tokyo, Okinawa, Kyūshū, Kōyasan, Kyoto, Shikoku, Sado Island, Nara, Kanazawa and Noto, Japan. In NY, LA, San Diego, San Francisco, Maui, Miami, Austin, on planes, in trains, cars, cabs, in temples and shrines, with a broken heart, with a mended/repaired heart & with an open mind.
I've cried my eyes out whilst writing a few chapters, I've re-read so many parts I couldn't bare to read them anymore.. my editor had to step in.. and while so many of us are blessed to live our our dreams, you've got to pinch yourself and take a mini bow, for just a small moment. Good work, you're a fucking badass. Now, get back to work.

If you're still seeking out your dreams, my greatest piece of advice to you is pursue them now. Follow your heart, listen to your mind, be an honest person. Work hard + focus on what you excel at. Stop comparing.

If you are able to help others with your career choice, you will live a much more fulfilled life.

Matcha + writing in a jungle shack in the middle of nowhere was always my dream, but once I've seen it come to pass, I must continue the course... what lies ahead we've yet to unveil, you'll have no way of knowing, so stop worrying. Hope and work for the best.
What lies inside of you, is a passion and a calling just dying to get out.
Go. Explore, dream, discover & don't you ever look back. For as they say, the best is yet to come.
