Brian McKnightのライブに行ってきました。彼の歌を聴いて、感動しない人はいないと、心の底から思った。技術、歌声、声量、音程、緩急、響き、リズム、ハート、エンターテイメント性、アドリブ感、姿勢、ピアノ、ギター、選曲、スタイル、程よい筋肉、上げればきりがないが、その全てに、非の打ち所がない…。
ステージの上には、こんなにも音楽の中に、それ以外の中にも、たくさんの要素があることを、気付かされる。人のことを羨んではいけないって分かってはいるけれど、あんな天才に生まれたら、どんな感覚なんだろう…。そこにはどんな苦しみが待っているのか想像もつかない。
きっと良いことだけな人生のはずもないし、苦しみ抜き、勝ち取ってきたものが、あのステージには全て凝縮されているんだと思う。また自分の感性の扉を、ブライアンが一つ開けるカギをくれた…。
ブライアン、キャプテン、JAY'ED、りゅうじ、LA タクさん、ブライアンマネージャーエドウィンと‼モッさん、写真撮ってくれて、そういえば一緒に撮り忘れてゴメン…涙。

I went to Brian McKnight's live show. I'm sure everyone who heard his music are moved. His songs are so touching. His skills, vocals, pitch, tempo, vibes, rhythm, soul, entertainment, ad-lib, attitude,piano, guitar, song selection, style, physique, basically everything is perfect. He makes us realize there is so much to music when he is on stage. I wonder how it feels to be born such a genius, the highs and lows.
I'm sure it hasn't been an easy road. He's probably experienced lots of ups and downs but that's what makes Brian McKnight the man he is today. He gave me many hints on how to bring myself up a notch. Here's a photo with Brian, Captain, JAY'ED, Ryuji, Taku-san from LA and Brian's manager Edwin.
