Lia’s favourite artwork is Vanessa Bell’s Abstract Painting c.1914.
"I first saw the artwork in the Tate Etc. magazine. From there I had to see it in-person in the gallery and ever since then it has remained one of my favourites in the collection.”
"I enjoy volunteering at Tate because I love learning about the artworks and talking to lots of different people. Every time I come it’s a unique experience.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Susan loves Harold Gilman’s Mrs Mounter at the Breakfast Table 1816-7. “I find the painting very poignant. At the time it was painted artwork often focused on aristocrats, so to me this artwork of an ordinary working class woman is very beautiful but also unassuming.”
