Today’s #VolunteersWeek post is by Jamie, who is a Visitor Host at Tate Britain.

Jamie loves volunteering because it gives him a chance be close to art while also helping people. He really enjoys guiding people through the gallery and introducing visitors to great artists like J.M.W. Turner and William Blake. Jamie particularly likes getting lost in the colours of a painting by Sir Nathaniel Bacon, Cookmaid with Still Life of Vegetables and Fruit c.1620–5
