Did you know the two towers on top of our building are a work of art? Artist #ChrisBurden installed them, along with a ship, on the outside of the museum as part of his 2013 retrospective "Extreme Measures." The 36-foot-tall structures alter the skyline slightly, commenting on the constantly changing #urban landscape while also evoking the lost Twin Towers. Burden pushed the museum to its structural limits, and in the process our building became a collaborator. #architecture
