Photo by @jtkerby | The gelada monkey herd walks back towards their sleeping cliffs on a foggy afternoon. They're agitated by the weather - it's hard to know if predators are lurking nearby in the fog - so they pack densely together. Moments after I took this photo, one monkey let out an alarm call and the herd began sprinting en masse back to the safety of the cliffs. Herds in this species of grass eating primates can reach over 1,000 individuals.
