Congratulations to Claire Metcalfe from Barker College, the winner of the Museum’s Award for Shape 2016, with her project BlueyCheck. Each year this award is presented to one student who has demonstrated a particularly comprehensive approach to product innovation. Claire’s winning project focused on the #design and development of handheld peak flow meter for young children with #asthma.⠀

#Shape2016 showcases a selection of outstanding major projects from the HSC Design and Technology, Industrial Technology, and Textiles and Design courses. The exhibition strongly connects to the #MAAScollection, which contains over half a million examples of human ingenuity. On now at #PowerhouseMuseum until 7 May 2017.
