There are 1,000 individually moulded leaves attached to this stunning porcelain bowl made by Hosono Hitomi. It took six months to create, and the brilliant detail continues inside the vessel, making the leaves look as if they’re swaying in a breeze. Although completed in 2013, the style is reminiscent of the elaborate pottery produced in the middle Jomon period in Japan over 3,500 years ago.
