Born in France in 1911, Bourgeois would be 105 years old today. Best known for her installations and large-scale #sculptures, Bourgeois was also a prolific painter and printmaker. In her artwork she explored themes of the body, family, domesticity, and the subconscious through a highly personal visual language.
