This winter scene is by #Hokusai. The print is thought to illustrate a poem by 8th-century Chinese poet Du Fu about wishing a friend farewell as they head off to war. It’s a riverside scene, and shows a Chinese cavalry officer on horseback, with his servant on foot behind him, carrying a load. This print was made around 1833, when Hokusai was in his seventies.
