Is it fire? What is the red light from?

I've had a lot of people ask me about this surreal photo from Yosemite & how it was created. Only a few times a year the fog sits low enough in the valley to create this affect. As car taillights exit & enter the park it makes and eerie red glow. If you combine that with a long exposure...2-10 seconds it can look like a streak of red light. It's often just patience & a little creativity that can make an average perspective unique.
