From the air the Maldives resemble a necklace with each atoll a single pearl embedded in this 510 miles long archipelago of 1192 islands. Hot and humid at sea level, the air was icy cold at altitude and my wardrobe of shorts, sandals and t-shirt was inappropriate for shooting aerials on this occasion. @saveourseasfoundation @thephotosociety @natgeocreative
