Thanks to the recommendation by Yamamoto san who has lived in Kanazawa since young, danna and I had one of the best lunches today after she led us on a tour booked via @expediasg.
Well known for their 鰤のたたき (fired buri sashimi fish, yellowtail), #Ushioya in Kanazawa serves a lean menu of bento/rice dishes with super fresh sashimi and their signature tataki.
Really appreciate her guidance and information shared on this interesting tour of 'little kyoto', the samurai streets, old houses, geisha district and kenroku-en garden.
